My Top Repurchased Items

IMAG1168

When it comes to green beauty products, I love trying new products as much as the next beauty blogger but when I find products that I love enough to repurchase, I know that I’ve found something special. The products pictured above are products that I have repurchased the most for either myself or my family in the past year.

Each product has a EWG rating of 2 or less, which is great because it means that it rates very low on the toxicity scale. I don’t know the exact EWG rating for the One Love Organics cleanser but it rates a 3 on the think dirty app due to the honeysuckle ingredient. If you have concerns about the use of honeysuckle extract as a preservative, then this cleanser may not be for you.

I’ve probably mentioned each of these products before on the blog, but I think it just shows you how well these products perform over time. You might have noticed that most of the products that I’ve repurchased are face/body products. I don’t wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, so it takes me awhile to finish up makeup products. I also don’t wear heavy makeup and I tend to gravitate toward bb creams and tinted moisturizers instead of foundations. My most used green beauty makeup product is my RMS Beauty Un-Cover Up in 22. This is my second pot and I’ve already hit pan, so I may be picking up another one in the near future. I’m curious about other green beauty concealers on the market but I don’t know if I will love it as much as this one. Let me know if you have any suggestions for natural concealers in the comments!

Acure Organics Calming Body Lotion ($9.99) – I don’t know if I can keep track of how many times I’ve repurchased this product. I think we’ve bought at least 7 bottles of these in the past year or so. Even my parents, who were a bit resistant to transitioning to natural products, really love this lotion. It’s moisturizing and soothing. If you love lavender scented products, then this is a must-have for you! The ingredients and price point are amazing and there are always sales going on either in-store or online. They also carry Acure Organics at Target now, so it’s a great affordable staple to have in your green beauty collection.

One Love Organics Easy Does It Foaming Cleanser ($29) – This cleanser is just a great everyday cleanser. I think I first heard about this cleanser from Shannon Sullivan on Youtube. It smells like yummy apples and one bottle lasts a long time. This is my brother’s favorite cleanser and he’s gone through two bottles of these this year. I have to get him another bottle but in the meantime, I got him to test out the Acure Organics Argan Oil + Mint Facial Cleansing Creme. So, we’ll see how he likes it…

Schmidt’s Bergamot + Lime Deodorant ($9.99) – I feel that natural deodorants are so hard to get used to, especially when you’re just transitioning into green beauty or non-toxic products. Schmidt’s makes the transition a little easier and while the concept of using deodorant in jar form seems a bit odd, you’ll quickly find that it’s much simpler than it looks. The smell is so lovely. It reminds me of Lush’s Ocean Salt Cleanser, so if you’re fan of that scent then you will most likely enjoy this one. The price point is also great. One little jar will last you months! My mom, brother, and sister are all fans of this product and we’ve probably repurchased it about 5 times because after trying out some samples, everyone wanted one! This also goes on sale on Pharmaca, which is where I like to stock up on my green beauty staples. 🙂

MyChelle Dermaceuticals Sun Shield SPF 28 – Unscented ($19.99) -This sunscreen is my current favorite non-tinted facial sunscreen. My brother and my mom love this and we’ve probably repurchased this at least 4 times in the past year because everyone in my family loves this stuff. I think the price point is very affordable and there are often sales on Pharmaca’s website. My mom’s skin is very sensitive to sunscreen, even natural brands, so she is happy that she has found one that doesn’t irritate her skin but is also lightweight and does not leave a white cast on her face. They also sell this at Whole Foods and Sprouts, so it’s super accessible and easy to find.

Acure Organics Moroccan Argan Oil ($12.99) – This is a great multi-tasker and super affordable. You can use it on your face, hair, body, cuticles, etc. I like to pick these up whenever a sale is going on and it lasts a long time because you only need a few pumps per use. I think it’s a great facial oil to try, especially for people that are new to facials oils or want a no-fuss facial oil with only one ingredient. Did I mention that it is also 100% Certified Organic?
